Security Guard Wanted in Oskarshamn

Security guards work with the surveillance of critical societal facilities, where the demand for security is at its highest. As a security guard, you can either be trained as a guard with a shortened security guard training or have completed a longer basic training as a security guard. You may also have completed military basic training and military security guard training from 2016 onwards.

We have high demands for our security guards regarding personal qualities, experience in a public environment, and legal knowledge.

We offer you a chance to be part of creating the future security guards in Sweden, where teamwork, training, and exercises are a significant part of the work beyond the regular assignment. We will work in teams and collaborate with both authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to maintain and create the safest and most secure assignments in Sweden. Our mission is to strengthen the protection of our client, where all security guards working on the site must undergo a HAS, a training in Handling Firearms.

The work consists of patrolling and stationary surveillance where high demands are placed on you as an individual to maintain a high level of security at the site. You need to have good collaboration skills with colleagues and clients, as well as the ability to make sound decisions independently. Being communicative and having good physical fitness is essential to thrive in the role.

Requirements for this position:

• No criminal record
• Drug-free
• High school diploma
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Orderly finances
• Driving license B
• At least 18 years old

It is particularly meritorious if you already have one or more of the industry-specific trainings required to work here. You will have the opportunity to indicate the trainings you have in the selection questions. If you do not have any of the required industry trainings, we will cover the training.

Our operations run 24/7, year-round, and may involve long shifts and inconvenient working hours. Avarn Security offers salaries according to the collective agreement between Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union. Since Avarn Security is a security-classified company, a security review with a background check will be conducted according to the Security Protection Act.
